One of the first buildings in the country to use insulated reinforced poured-in-place concrete walls. Designed primarily as a Sanctuary with future plans for a campus to include classrooms and administration space, the building includes a fellowship meeting room, kitchen and bathrooms. The privacy of interior space is ensured by clerestory windows high above surrounding subdivisions, the parking lot and major thoroughfares which flank the building on two sides.
The architectural concrete finish on both the interior and exterior walls, along with concrete columns, radiant heated floor slabs and steps is economical with low maintenance. The exterior coffers are enhanced with sculptural tiles. Laminated wood arches, 4" thick interior wood finish, and standing rib metal roofing complete the Sanctuary roof.
Views, center on a distant mountain peak and swing a full 180° south to include the mountain range and eastern plains. Natural light fills the sanctuary and narthex.
